Ingredients
1 block firm tofu (pressed)
3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
Press the tofu:
Wrap tofu in paper towels and place a heavy object on top. Let sit for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture.Make the marinade:
In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and olive oil until smooth.Slice the tofu:
Cut tofu into evenly sized strips (about 1 inch thick).Marinate:
