Description
Everyday Creamy Vinaigrette is a quick 5-minute homemade salad dressing made with red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, Parmesan, garlic, and olive oil. It’s creamy, tangy, and perfect for salads, bowls, wraps, and roasted vegetables.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 small garlic clove, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons water
Instructions
Add mayonnaise, Parmesan, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and water to a blender.
Pulse a few times until ingredients are combined.
With the blender running, slowly stream in the olive oil until the dressing becomes smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Transfer to a mason jar or airtight container and refrigerate up to 5 days. Shake before serving.
Notes
For a thinner consistency, add 1–2 extra tablespoons of olive oil.
If the dressing thickens in the refrigerator, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes and shake well.
You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter option.
