  • 1 1/4 cups milk 🥛
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (plus more for greasing the pan)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.Combine Wet Ingredients:
      • In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.Make the Batter:
        • Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. The batter will be slightly lumpy—don’t overmix!Preheat the Pan:
          • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.Cook the Pancakes:
            • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set.
            • Flip the pancake and cook for another 1–2 minutes, or until golden brown.Serve Hot:
