Instructions
1️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics: In a large pot, heat butter or olive oil over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, and carrots, cooking until soft.
2️⃣ Add the Cabbage & Potatoes: Stir in chopped cabbage and potatoes, letting them soften slightly.
3️⃣ Simmer the Soup: Pour in broth, add caraway seeds (if using), bay leaf, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
