This Sheet Pan Broccoli Tortellini Bake is a quick and comforting one-pan dinner made with cheesy tortellini, roasted broccoli, and savory chicken sausage, finished with parmesan.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs fresh broccoli, cut into 1.5-inch florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 11 oz chicken sausage, sliced into rounds (Italian-style preferred)
- 16 oz frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (about 4 oz, freshly grated preferred)
- 6 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin preferred)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Red chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss broccoli with garlic, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper on a sheet pan. Spread evenly.
- Roast broccoli for 10 minutes until bright green with lightly browned edges.
- Increase oven temperature to 450°F. Transfer broccoli to a bowl and mix with sausage, frozen tortellini, remaining olive oil, and half of the parmesan cheese.
- Spread mixture on a prepared sheet pan in a single layer. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- If mixture looks dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of water halfway through baking.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining parmesan, and serve immediately.
Notes
Cut broccoli evenly for consistent roasting.
Use fresh tortellini to reduce baking time by 3–5 minutes.
Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for extra brightness.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat in oven at 350°F for best texture.
