Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crispy fried onions (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, broccoli, and rice.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour sauce mixture over chicken mixture.
  6. Stir in 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  10. Add crispy fried onions during the last 5 minutes if desired.
  11. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
