- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup crispy fried onions (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, broccoli, and rice.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour sauce mixture over chicken mixture.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Add crispy fried onions during the last 5 minutes if desired.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
