  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and pepperoncini peppers.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.
  8. Spoon sauce over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can swap chicken thighs for breasts, but thighs stay juicier.

For extra heat, add a splash of pepperoncini brine.

Sauce will thicken as it rests—don’t panic if it looks thin at first!
