  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux.
  4. Slowly whisk in chicken broth, stirring constantly until smooth.
  5. Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer until thickened.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and coat it well with the sauce.

Notes
