Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced green chiles
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp oregano, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Add onions, garlic, green chiles, salsa verde, chicken broth, and seasonings.
  3. Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Serve it in tacos, burritos, bowls, or any way you like!
