Description

Grilled Mango Lime Chicken is a juicy, flavor-packed dish featuring tender chicken marinated in a sweet mango, zesty lime, and savory glaze. Perfect for summer grilling or easy weeknight dinners, this recipe delivers a bold balance of smoky, sweet, and tangy flavors in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 ripe mango
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine mango, lime zest, lime juice, olive oil, coconut aminos, hot sauce, maple syrup (or honey), salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  2. Reserve ¼ cup of the marinade in a glass container and refrigerate for later use.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a bowl and coat thoroughly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 4–8 hours.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and place on the grill.
  5. Cook for about 10 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove chicken from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Brush the reserved marinade over the chicken before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate overnight but do not exceed 8 hours.
  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for a juicier result.
  • No grill? Use a grill pan or bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes.
  • Add extra hot sauce or chili flakes for more heat.
