Description

Grilled Salmon with Blackberry Sauce is a sweet and savory dish featuring juicy grilled salmon topped with a rich, tangy blackberry glaze—perfect for an easy yet elegant dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon dried lemongrass
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless salmon filets (about 4 filets, 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine rice vinegar, blackberries, honey, ginger, lemongrass, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Pat salmon filets dry and brush evenly with chili garlic sauce.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat and oil the grates well.
  4. Grill salmon for about 5 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve salmon topped with blackberry sauce and your favorite green vegetables.

Notes

  • Frozen blackberries can be used if fresh are unavailable—just thaw before blending.
  • Adjust honey for more or less sweetness.
  • Do not overcook the salmon; it should be tender and flaky.
  • Sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
