Ingredients

- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or spicy mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon celery seed
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Add the mayonnaise to a medium bowl or a wide-mouth jar with a lid.
- Add the Dijon mustard, onion powder, sugar, and celery seed. Stir until combined.
- Pour in the apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
- Whisk thoroughly or secure the lid and shake until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill until ready to serve, then toss with coleslaw mix and enjoy.
Notes
For a lighter version, replace half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
Adjust the sugar to suit your taste preferences.
Whole grain mustard can be substituted for Dijon mustard.
The dressing tastes even better after chilling for 30 minutes.
