Description

These Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels are flaky, cheesy, and packed with bold flavor. Made with creamy cheese, crispy bacon, and a hint of jalapeño heat, they’re the perfect easy appetizer for parties, game days, or cozy nights at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup (113 g) mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 medium jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely diced
  • 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

Garlic Butter

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and bacon until combined.
  3. Roll puff pastry into a 9×12-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread the filling evenly, leaving ½ inch along one edge.
  5. Lightly wet the edge, then roll the dough tightly into a log.
  6. Slice into 12 equal pieces and place on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. In a small saucepan, melt butter with garlic, parsley, and salt for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Brush garlic butter over warm pinwheels and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For less heat, remove all jalapeño seeds.
  • Chill the rolled dough for 10 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack if you want extra spice.
  • These can be made ahead and baked fresh when needed.
