- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
For the Pasta and Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 16 ounces spaghetti
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅔ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste

- Transfer chicken to a plate and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in black pepper and ½ cup reserved pasta water. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat.
- Stir in parmesan cheese and toss until melted and creamy. Add more pasta water if needed.
- Slice the chicken and serve over the pasta.
- Garnish with extra parmesan and parsley before serving.
Notes
Thin-sliced chicken breasts cook faster and more evenly.
For a milder dish, omit the red pepper flakes.
Add vegetables like zucchini, spinach, or bell peppers for extra color and nutrition.
If the pasta seems dry, add more reserved pasta water.
Italian seasoning can be substituted for thyme.
